Elders

Jonas Byler
Jonas_Byler.jpgJonas has been a believer in Christ for 21 years. He and his wife Brenda have been married 25 years. They have 3 children. Brandon is married, Melissa is in college and Aaron is a junior in High School. Their family has been attending Cornerstone for 4 years. Earlier this year Jonas sensed God’s call to become an elder. He desires to see people come to know Christ at a deeper level and for them to reach out to those around them with the love of Christ. He also hopes to be involved with the Men’s Ministry by encouraging the men of Cornerstone to grow in their faith.
Dan ItschnerDan_Itchner.jpg

Dan was born and raised in Geauga county. He has been serving the Lord since 1972. He met and married his cute wife Mim while working at Geauga hospital. They have one son, Nate, who is 19 and lives at home. The Lord has provided a variety of jobs for Dan within the Berkshire school district. He currently serves as counselor there. The Lord led Dan and Mim to join with 6 other families in starting Cornerstone 15 years ago. They appreciate the service opportunities and outreach of the church and look forward to seeing what God has in store for them as they walk with Him.

Courtney Miller
courtney.jpgCourtney was raised in a Christian home in Indiana, and accepted Christ as his Savior in his early teens. He has enjoyed serving God as Sunday School teacher, youth leader, Bible Memory camp leader, home fellowship leader, elder, and mission trip leader. A job that utilized his electrical engineering degree moved Courtney to Ohio. He and his family started attending Cornerstone several years after it was started. His wife Joyce was called home to be with the Lord in 2004. God blessed them with four children that are a joy to Courtney. His son Bj and daughter Kristen are married and serving the Lord in their churches, while Suzanne and Jeremy are still at home while attending college/high school. Courtney wants to extend God’s grace to others as he has experienced it himself, and desires to encourage others, especially youth, to stand firm in their faith and grow by serving Jesus.
