Welcome To Cornerstone!

Thank you for taking time to visit our website.  We hope it will encourage you to personally visit Cornerstone some Sunday.  We are a family friendly church that strives to glorify Christ by leading people to know Jesus and helping them grow through the teaching of Biblical truth. (Psalm 119:160 “The sum of Thy Word is truth…”)  We believe in absolute truth and recognize that unless a person views life through the lens of God’s truth they will not be able to distinguish what is right from what is wrong.

At one time our culture basically explained the universe, humanity, and the purpose of life from a Biblical perspective: a belief that God created all things that exist.

Our culture has drifted away from that view and today largely rejects the notion of God’s Word being the one truth.  Truth has become a matter of personal preference – the belief that all truth is relative.  What is true for you may not be true for me.  Pollster George Barna reported that most churchgoing adults reject the accuracy of the Bible.

In John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life…”  Thus he brings us truth that is true for all people, for all times.  At Cornerstone we believe that truth matters and that the church should be the pillar and support of God’s truth.
